Both Janet and Jim were brought up in a socialist background, with aspirations of personal betterment always present.

They were inspired to join the Labour Party by Jeremy Corbyn’s radical challenge to return to Labour’s Socialist roots.  Their disappointment over the demonisation of “lefties” and the swing to embrace the capitalist wing of Labour has not diminished their passion to bring about a change of government that is fairer and more just for all.

Janet has stood twice as Labour candidate for the Canford Heath Ward, and will do so again.
